Rosh Hashanah Redux: A Map To the High Holiday Journey

It's almost Rosh Hashanah.

Jews everywhere return to the synagogue. A place they once played, maybe prayed, often resented and sometimes dreaded.

It's time to take back the synagogue into a place of connection. To take back the ancient liturgy as a method of redemption, as a map for our own expansion and exploration.

On this eve of Rosh Hashanah 5777, I offer a map to the original prayer, a guide to the liturgy with free English translation (not literal) and an understanding of how you can take part in this journey, from the pews of the temple to the privacy of your home.

IF THIS GUIDE IS HELPFUL TO YOU, I INVITE YOU TO SIGN UP FOR OUR MAILING LIST AND SUBMIT COMMENTS VIA EMAIL.
