Shabbos + Thanksgiving + Embodied Magic
Join us this Black Friday to blitz your way into a spiritual experience of embodied gratitude and thanksgiving practice.
We'll journey into Shabbat in community with music, meditation, movement and an embodied Kabbalat Shabbat "Receiving the Shabbat" journey to greet the Divine Feminine, the Shabbos Queen, and our embodied "Neshama Yeteyra" presence on Friday evening. We allow spirit to enter our bodies through the physical practices of honoring Shabbat with breath, song, dance, and a delicious kosher vegetarian dinner.
Meet new friends, share your prayers, and come with an open heart as we build this community of The Gene-Sis.
NOTE: Start time TBD. Typically we begin at 7pm, being that this is a day off, we hope to start earlier between 5-6pm.
Facilitated by Rishe Groner and surprise guests.

ABOUT THIS EVENT:
On Shabbat, we receive an additional soul: the Neshama Yeteira, that embodies the Divine within our physical bodies for this magical 25 hour period. In order to truly receive (l’kabel) Shabbat, one needs to first create space within themselves. At this service, we will be following the traditional roadmap of the Friday night liturgy, a gift from our ancestors that will help us transport ourselves to a place of Oneness that is Shabbat. We will follow and honor the rhythms of this ancient energetic vehicle, and incorporate spiritual technologies of embodiment to take us deeper and higher, uniting body and soul.
OTHER NOTES:
This service will include musical instruments. Food is strictly kosher.
BYOB wine and beverages. Instruments welcome for jamming.
